Privacy policy
Hydra Mode is an iPhone app for training, macros and a weekly Jumbo grocery basket. This page says what it stores about you, why, who holds it for us, and how to delete it.
Who is responsible
Hydra Mode is a trade name of PurelyEase, the sole proprietorship of Aaron Boudrai Gonzalez in the Netherlands (KvK 42052391). He decides how your data is used (the “controller” under the GDPR). Contact: hello@hydramode.fit.
What we store
- Your account: your email address and, if you sign up with email, a password, which only our sign-in provider holds, hashed.
- Continue with Apple or Google: Apple or Google confirms it’s you and gives us your name and email address. Google also sends a link to your profile photo, which we don’t use. Nothing else comes from that account. Apple lets you share a private relay address instead of your real one.
- Your profile, as you enter it: name, age, sex, height, current and target weight, training experience and gym days, goal, daily calorie and macro targets, weight unit, allergies and intolerances, dietary pattern and foods you dislike.
- What you log: meals, workouts, exercises (including ones you create), sets, reps and weights.
- Your groceries: your weekly baskets, the products in them, and the staples you keep at home.
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos or advertising identifiers. The app contains no advertising and no analytics or tracking tools.
Why
Only to run the features you use: to suggest targets, to build a weekly basket that fits your macros and leaves out what you are allergic to or dislike, and to show your history. Allergies, weight and similar details can be health information; you enter them yourself, you choose how much to enter, and we use them for nothing else. We never sell your data or share it for advertising.
Who holds it for us
- Supabase stores the data above and handles sign-in.
- Resend delivers the emails we send you.
- Vercel runs the server that builds your basket.
- Jumbo: when you choose to send a basket to Jumbo, the app opens jumbo.com inside the app and adds the products for you. What you do there, including signing in to Jumbo and paying, is between you and Jumbo, under Jumbo’s own privacy policy. We do not receive your Jumbo account details.
- Apple: if you test through TestFlight, Apple may share crash reports and the feedback you send with us, under Apple’s privacy policy.
How long, and deleting it
We keep your data while you have an account. Settings › Profile › Delete account in the app deletes your account and everything listed above, immediately and for good. If you signed in with Apple, it also ends Hydra Mode’s access to your Apple Account. Copies in our providers’ backups disappear as those backups expire.
Your rights
You can see and correct most of your data in the app, and delete all of it. You can also ask us, at hello@hydramode.fit, for a copy of your data or to restrict or object to how we use it. If you think we handle it wrongly, you can complain to a data protection authority — in the Netherlands, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Children
Hydra Mode is not meant for anyone under 16.
